OhBounce.ai was born from frustration. We kept running into the same problem: email lists that looked clean but weren't. Bounces, spam traps, and disposable addresses slipping through.
Our story
In 2022, our team was building a B2B SaaS product. After a marketing campaign, our SendGrid account got flagged — 9% bounce rate, almost entirely from a single list we thought was clean.
We looked at every email validation tool on the market. They were either too expensive, too inaccurate, or required us to hand over our entire contact list upfront. None of them felt right.
So we built our own. What started as an internal tool in late 2022 became OhBounce.ai — a developer-first email validation service that doesn't cut corners on accuracy or make you fight the docs to get started. We opened to the public in September 2023 and have been shipping ever since.
We use it ourselves every day. That's the only reason we built it.
